IT Business Developer for Portuguese Market
Sales is the Xpand IT department responsible for converting leads and marketing strategies into sales and effective business. The focus of this department is to develop business opportunities, generating sales and contributing to the company’s growth. By integrating our Sales area, you can expect to work together with our Marketing and IT Services teams, so that we can, together, create and maintain relationships of trust and success with our partners and customers through technology.
YOUR ROLE
As an IT Business Developer, you will have a vital role in streamlining and developing Xpand IT’s business in the domestic market. It will be your responsibility to actively participate in outlining and executing the business activity plan for Xpand IT’s technological business units. You will also be responsible for managing business opportunities for a set of clients, establishing a long-term relationship of close trust and partnership with them.
Your daily activities will include:
- Contributing towards creating, developing and managing a Customer Portfolio
- Looking for and contacting potential clients in the IT area in order to enhance the customer’s business
- Participating in developing technical proposals that present high-quality software solutions
- Meetings with clients to present business areas and emerging technologies/products
- Participating in reference commercial and technological events (DNA, Websummit)
- Following up contacts made at Marketing events
- Developing reports of every initiative as well as metrics established for the function
- Working together with Management & IT Business Units to identify potential projects/leads
- Building trusting relationships and adding value for the clients
- Working with some business units, and direct contact with technologies such as Salesforce, Atlassian, Azure, WSO2, Development Frameworks, among others
SKILLS YOU NEED TO HAVE
- Degree / Master in Management, Computer Engineering, Electrotechnical or Mechanical
- Experience in Information Technologies (IT) and/or Consultancy
- Dynamism, autonomy and proactivity
- Abilities in sales, negotiation and customer relationship management
- Ability to simultaneously address multiple projects and challenges and to manage priorities and deadlines
- Excellent English proficiency
- Available to travel regularly and Driver’s Licence
