Business Development Manager

The Digital Xperience area at Xpand IT is a fast-growing technological team that focuses on Microsoft and Mobile technologies. Its main mission is to deliver high-quality software solutions that respond to end-user needs, in a continuously demanding and fast-paced technological world, providing the best experience in terms of personalisation, performance and features. We take advantage of a set of state-of-the-art frameworks and tools such as Kubernetes for the deployment of Azure Apps and .Net Core for Web development. But that’s not all: our team also works with Kotlin and Swift for native App development and Xamarin or Flutter for cross-platform App development, deploying and integrating our Apps into Microsoft and Azure ecosystems.


As an Xpand IT’s Business Development Manager, you will play a critical role as a strategic advisor to analyse, suggest and design improvements in business rules and processes. or will act as a facilitator among all team members, ensuring proper and appropriate communication both in technical teams and UX/UI teams, discussing the functional requirements with them, as well.

Your daily activities will include:

  • Contacting with the internal customer and discussing functional requirements together with the support of the technical teams and aligning with the UXUI teams
  • Monitoring the development of various initiatives focusing on digital channels and ensuring the delivery and alignment of all teams
  • Pipeline prioritising, taking into account the impact of each functionality on the business and delivery capacity
  • Analyse requirements and the critical test capability of implemented solutions
  • Identifying customer service trends
  • Searching for the best functional solution to answer business problems
  • Ensuring proper delivery of functional specifications
  • Facilitating discussion and general acceptance of the end solution
  • Checking whether the end solution meets the established and agreed-upon requirements
  • Degree in Management of Information Technology and/or Computer Science
  • Capable of doing functional analysis of new implementations focused on digital channels, process improvement and results monitoring
  • Ability to articulate with different teams (IT, Business, UX / UI, etc.) and prioritise solutions with a view to improving the end-user experience
  • Experience in analysis and structure of functional and non-functional requirements
  • Active team member, able to gather information from every team to produce flawless project designs
  • Critical thinking, able to see the Big Picture
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Sound communication skills
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
