Power Platform Team Leader
The Digital Xperience area at Xpand IT is a fast-growing technological team that focuses on Microsoft and Mobile technologies. The main mission is to deliver high-quality software solutions that respond to end-user needs, in a continuously demanding and fast-paced technological world, providing the best experience in terms of personalisation, performance and features. We take advantage of a set of state-of-the-art frameworks and tools such as Kubernetes for deploying Azure Apps and .Net Core for Web development.
But that’s not all: our team also works with Kotlin and Swift for native App development and Xamarin or Flutter for cross-platform App development, deploying and integrating our Apps into Microsoft and Azure ecosystems.
YOUR ROLE
As a Power Platform Team Leader, you will be responsible for the team that is developing applications using Microsoft Power Platform components, such as Power Apps, Power Automate and Power Virtual Agents, among others. These solutions allow you to address optimisation scenarios in several organisations and our team is committed to showcasing the value of technology!
A typical day of a Power Platform Team Leader involves understanding the business and its challenges, helping the Power Apps team to functionally outline a solution to identify use cases, and supporting in developing the APPs using Power Platform. You will also work with the other development teams when additional developments, including in Microsoft Azure, are necessary. We value not only technical skills and soft skills but also teamwork and motivation for the role.
Your daily activities will include:
- Developing Apps using Power Platform
- Managing the team and distributing work
- Developing PowerApps canvas and model-driven apps
- Implementing Power BI dashboards and reports with multiple data sources
- Being adept at leveraging new approaches to solutions for system design and functionality
- Addressing and remediating security vulnerability findings in PowerApps
- Developing on the platform in specific projects, assuming the role of solution architect
- Being aware of the limits of technology and when it is justified to move from a low-code approach to a tailor-made development approach, integrating the advantages of both approaches
- Investigating technology to outline use cases that are interesting to present to customers
- Performing pre-sale actions, such as prototypes, presentations, webinars

SKILLS YOU NEED TO HAVE
- MSc / BSc in Information Technology Management and/or Computer Science
- Vast knowledge of technological trends
- Proven experience as a team leader in IT projects
- Analytical and data-driven mindset
- Ability to guide a team of professionals and be able to help them collaborate and come to an agreement on and acceptance of a solution or path
- Responsibility and organisation
- Ability to successfully manage and implement key projects from start to finish
- Motivation and willingness to innovate
- Team Player
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
// Will be a nice plus if you have:
- Preferably programming experience
- Functional analysis experience is a plus
- Knowledge of Microsoft PowerApps and Microsoft Flow
- Knowledge of development methodologies (Scrum) and Tools to development support (Confluence, JIRA, Git, Jenkins, Bamboo, TFS)
- Sound applied knowledge of Power Apps including in-depth understanding of customisation, configuration, integration, and extensibility, as well as boundaries and constraints
