Technical Support Engineer

Xpand IT’s IT Operations team is responsible for the acquisition and maintenance of all the company’s hardware/software and IT Infrastructure, ensuring that all employees have the necessary conditions to perform their job activities.


As a Technical Support Engineer you will be responsible for ensuring that all Xpanders have the necessary conditions for the fulfilment and performance of their functions. You will have the opportunity to work and manage infrastructures such as Digital Ocean, Microsoft Azure as well as local Datacenter infrastructures. But this is not all, since you’ll also act as an administrator both on a network level and in Office 365.

Your daily activities will include:

  • Support and maintenance of the company’s IT Infrastructure
  • Helpdesk support, either in person or remote
  • Ensure all Xpanders have the best conditions to perform their tasks
  • Collaborate with the IT Operations team in the management of the computer material and selection/acquisition of equipment
  • Manage local Datacenter Infrastructure and Cloud
  • Office 365 Administration
  • High School Level
  • 3+ years of experience in IT Support or Helpdesk:
    • Hardware, software and network troubleshooting
    • Install and configure operating systems
    • On-site, remote and telephone technical support
  • Motivated and innovative
  • Excellent communication skills and team player
  • Knowledge in management of Cloud Service providers
  • Work experience with Linux

// Will be a nice plus if you have:

  • Experience with Suite Atlassian(Jira or Confluence)
  • Administration and usage experience with Office 365
  • Experiencia in Linux administration
  • User experience with ticketing tools(e.g. Jira Service Desk, OTRS, Remedy, Zendesk, etc.…)
  • knowledge of programming languages
  • AWS
  • Knowledge and/or experience with Digital Ocean Infrastructure and/or Microsoft Azure
  • English proficiency
