UX UI Designer

Xpand IT’s User Experience unit works to design experiences that place users at the center of the process and are simultaneously valuable, accessible and credible for them and aligned with the organizations’ business rules and objectives.
It is responsible for carrying out research to inform decisions, acts as specialized strategic consultancy and creates the most appropriate and engaging experiences for application software solutions developed for our clients – nationally and internationally.
The UX unit collaborates with internal and external multidisciplinary teams, which include Software Developers, Project Managers, Service Leads, Product Owners and Stakeholders in the implementation of a wide range of digital products such as mobile applications, dashboards, portals, responsive websites and others. type of software and digital transformation for varied industries such as banking, insurance, health, retail, pharmaceuticals, transport and utility, among others.
YOUR ROLE
As a UX UI Designer you will have a key role in creating user-centric omnichannel experiences.
The function makes use of a vast set of activities, inserted in a specific human-centered design framework with structured processes for each phase of the project.
Design thinking, creative thinking, the ability to question and analyze rationally, solving problems efficiently and effectively and collaborative work are part of our daily lives.
On a daily basis, you will be responsible for collaborating and participative work in:
- Creation of experiences, powered by technology, in accordance with industry best practices;
- Discovery, Analysis and UX Strategy;
- Definition of functional requirements;
- Interaction with customers, understanding their business rules and objectives, justifying the rationale for the proposals presented;
- Develop journeys, maps and flows of empathy and experience, information architecture, micro-copy, wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity layouts;
- Ensure main accessibility guidelines;
- Construction and maintenance of Design Systems;
- UX Quality Assurance.
Additionally, it is expected:
- Bring and develop creative approaches, purpose-led design and the ability to question and analyze;
- Ability to give/receive feedback for continuous improvement of skills;
- Understand technical, functional requirements and other concepts involving technological projects.
Technological stacks: Figma, Adobe XD & Adobe Creative Suite, Miro, Whimsical
SKILLS YOU NEED TO HAVE
- Higher education in Design or similar;
- Specific training in UX;
- Professional experience (between 2 and 3 years) in UX projects.
Essential soft skills:
- Empathy;
- Collaboration;
- Effective communication (oral and written);
- Ability to work on multiple projects and tasks;
- Autonomy, responsibility and delivery capacity;
- Intermediate level of English (oral and written).
Other competences:
- Knowledge of HTML & CSS;
- Additional passion for motion graphics and digital skills in After Effects, Premiere or similar.
