Frontend Engineer (Vue.js)
The Digital Xperience area at Xpand IT is a fast-growing technological team that focuses on Microsoft and Mobile technologies. The main mission is to deliver high-quality software solutions that respond to end-user needs, in a continuously demanding and fast-paced technological world, providing the best experience in terms of personalisation, performance and features. We take advantage of a set of state-of-the-art frameworks and tools such as Kubernetes for the deployment of Azure Apps and .Net Core for Web development.
Our team also works with Kotlin and Swift for native App development and Xamarin or Flutter for cross-platform App development, deploying and integrating our Apps into Microsoft and Azure ecosystems.
YOUR ROLE
As a Frontend Engineer (Vue.js) you will be responsible for defining and implementing the user interface and all the interaction that users may have with the web applications. You will work in a multidisciplinary environment together with UX/UI specialists and software engineers responsible for the backend component of the applications.
On a daily basis, you will be responsible for:
- Help design and implement dynamic, high-quality and user-friendly web interfaces
- Develop and optimize applications to get maximum performance from the frontend layer and ensure compatibility across different browsers and devices;
- Create reusable API libraries for future use;
- Working in multidisciplinary teams to which backend developers and web designers belong.

SKILLS YOU NEED TO HAVE
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in information technology management, Computer Science or similar;
- Technical knowledge (+1 year) of JavaScript + HTML5 and CSS3 technologies;
- Experience designing and developing SPAs with Vue.js or React (preferably Vue);
- Experience in using state management solutions (VueX, Pinia, Redux or similar);
- Experience processing asynchronous requests and partial updates of web pages;
- Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to resolve them;
- Organizational skills and “clean code” evangelist;
- Good understanding of application design principles and patterns;
- Enjoy teamwork and problem-solving skills;
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team;
- Good level of English (written and spoken).

- Development knowledge or experience with TypeScript, ES6, SASS or LESS;
- Knowledge of Tailwind, Bootstrap or other UI frameworks;
- Experience in developing and delivering solutions using microservices-based architectures;
- Experience using CI/CD best practices using best industry tools and standards (e.g. Git, Jira, GitLab, Jenkins);
- Knowledge of C#, .NET, LINQ, Entity Framework, Blazor, Azure Container Services (AKS) or Kubernetes.
