IT Business Developer
The Digital Xperience area at Xpand IT is a fast-growing technological team that focuses on Microsoft and Mobile technologies. The main mission is to deliver high-quality software solutions that respond to end-user needs, in a continuously demanding and fast-paced technological world, providing the best experience in terms of personalisation, performance and features. We take advantage of a set of state-of-the-art frameworks and tools such as Kubernetes for deploying Azure Apps and .Net Core for Web development.
But that’s not all: our team also works with Kotlin and Swift for native App development and Xamarin or Flutter for cross-platform App development, deploying and integrating our Apps into Microsoft and Azure ecosystems.
YOUR ROLE
As an IT Business Developer, you will play a pivotal role in driving and advancing Xpand IT’s business in the market. It will be your responsibility to actively participate in defining and executing the business activity plan for Xpand IT’s technological units. You will also be accountable for managing business opportunities within a client portfolio, establishing enduring, close relationships of trust and partnership.
On a daily basis, your responsibilities will include:
- Contributing to the creation, development, and management of a client portfolio;
- Participating in prospecting activities to acquire new IT clients;
- Collaborating in the preparation of technical proposals that offer high-quality software solutions;
- Conducting client meetings to present business areas, technologies, and emerging solutions;
- Engaging in renowned commercial and technological events (e.g., DNA, Web Summit, etc.);
- Following up on contacts made at marketing events;
- Compiling reports on all initiatives undertaken, as well as metrics established for the role;
- Collaborating with the management team and business units to identify potential clients;
- Building trust and adding value to our clients;
- Collaborating with various business units, which have expertise in technologies such as Azure, Atlassian, web and mobile development frameworks, middleware, data solutions, among others.
SKILLS YOU NEED TO HAVE
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Management, Information Systems Management, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields;
- At least 5 years of experience in Consulting and/or IT;
- Experience in IT and/or Consulting;
- Dynamism, autonomy, and proactivity;
- Interest in sales, negotiation, and client relationship management;
- Ability to handle multiple projects and challenges while managing priorities and estimates;
- Strong communication skills in English;
- Willingness to travel and possess a driver’s license.
