Senior DevOps Engineer
The Digital Xperience area at Xpand IT is a fast-growing technological team that focuses on Microsoft and Mobile technologies. The main mission is to deliver high-quality software solutions that respond to end-user needs in a continuously demanding and fast-paced technological world, providing the best experience in terms of personalisation, performance and features. We take advantage of a set of state-of-the-art frameworks and tools such as Kubernetes for the deployment of Azure Apps and .Net Core for Web development.
But that’s not all: our team also works with Kotlin and Swift for native App development and Xamarin or Flutter for cross-platform App development, deploying and integrating our Apps into Microsoft and Azure ecosystems.
YOUR ROLE
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will act as an authority on the design and implementation of highly available and secure cloud infrastructure, aligned with modern software architecture. This role’s mission is to apply DevOps methodologies and best practices to the software development lifecycle.
Your daily activities will include:
- Defining the architecture of software solutions as a team, contributing with your experience and knowledge to ensure the scalability and robustness of the applications
- Design and produce high-quality code, following established guidelines and promoting best practices, as well as Agile or Scrum methodologies for project development and management
- Clearly document changes to code, and packages and perform unit and integrated tests, ensuring the quality of all deliverables
- Create synergies and collaborate with the development team, ensuring the delivery of the project within the established deadlines and guaranteeing technical excellence
- Assess requirements for new features and improvements, identifying the impact on existing applications, APIs and operating systems, proposing robust, efficient and innovative solutions
- Keeping up to date with the latest technologies and trends, providing suggestions/recommendations that enable technological innovation

SKILLS YOU NEED TO HAVE
- Strong technical expertise in one or more of our core technologies
- Ability to solve complex technical problems, carry out analyzes and autonomous research for solutions, discuss ideas with the team to unlock issues, contributing to their resolution
- Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies is essential
- Proven know-how in all phases of the software development lifecycle, such as analysis, design, development, testing and support
- Ability to write and run test cases
- Good oral and written communication
Extra points for:
- Technical knowledge in .NET, Power Platform, AKS, DevOps and/or mobile development
- Professional experience with frontend (Vue.js) or databases
