Senior Integration Developer
The Middleware area at Xpand IT helps clients improve business processes from end to end by implementing software solutions that enable several applications/components of a distributed system to communicate and manage data efficiently and effectively. By design, these solutions enable interoperability between applications that may run in different operating environments (operating system or cloud provider) and communicate by exchanging data based on industry standards (JSON, XML, etc).
YOUR ROLE
As a Senior Integration Developer, you will have a central role in the teams, as you will be responsible for implementing the integration architecture. You will be involved in the entire solution development process, from business requirements to creating integrations. Plus, you will be responsible for ensuring its design and quality, considering the standards and the best practices on hybrid architectures or based on microservices and cloud environments.
On a daily basis, you will be responsible for:
- Participate in technical and functional analysis of complex, organization-wide integration architectures
- Play a key role in gathering and defining requirements with clients’ architecture and systems teams
- Analyze and integrate inputs from different stakeholders
- Ensuring that the code delivered (your own and by the team) is reliable and contributes to the scalability, reuse and quality of the solution, respecting the best standards of business integration
- Actively participate in the design and evolution of APIs and tools according to the team’s roadmap
- Work with the team and provide insights for solutions to solve complex and specific problems of organizations
- Ensure the quality of deliverables through testing and automation processes
- Support the project team technically

SKILLS YOU NEED TO HAVE
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering and Information Systems or Computer Science
- Professional experience with Middleware platforms such as WSO2, Mulesoft, Azure, TIBCO, Red Hat, Oracle or IBM
- Professional experience in applying design patterns during the implementation of complex software solutions
- Professional experience with JSON, XML, XPath and WSDL
- Professional experience with REST, HTTP, FTP, SMTP and TCP
- Experience with Unix systems and shell scripting
- Experience with Java-based technologies
- Experience with relational databases (MS SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL)
- Practical experience using development process support tools, such as IDEs, Git, Jenkins, Jira, or equivalent tools
- Experience in the definition and execution of unit, integrated and non-regression tests, as well as in the implementation of automation processes (CI/CD) of the development cycle
- Motivation, capacity for innovation, good communication skills and easy integration into work teams
- Enjoyment for teamwork and solving complex problems and challenges
- Good communication skills (written and spoken)
- Fluent English (written and spoken)
