Senior Acquisition Manager

The Human Resources area is concerned with the entire journey of employees (and potential employees) from the first contact with Xpand IT.

It ensures that there is a stringent recruitment process and a welcoming onboarding so that everyone is well received and integrated. It is responsible for the proper management of all benefits, partnerships and protocols and to energise the Xpanders community, always with the aim of promoting Xpand IT human culture, based on strong values.

The main objective is to create lasting and trusting relationships that guarantee each Xpander’s personal and professional development.

YOUR ROLE

As Senior Acquisition Manager, your main responsibility will be to support Xpand IT, contributing to its success and ensuring that the company’s talent acquisition needs for senior and critical positions are met. You will proactively design and provide clarification sessions to potential candidates while ensuring the construction of a solid contact base and the Best Candidate Experience.

Your daily activities will include:

  • Partner with Talent Management and Business Partners to understand/ assess organizational talent gaps in relation to the current state of succession plans for key leadership and unique roles;
  • Conceptualize, develop and implement a plan of action for senior talent, pipelining and mapping strategies in partnership with Talent Management & Business Partners;
  • Identify potential candidates by using all available candidate sources – both internally and externally e.g. Networking, partners, social media, conferences etc;
  • Investigate proactively new ideas to build innovative sourcing strategies and provide Business & Talent Acquisition with the strategic market insights;
  • This role works independently across all units and teams reporting directly to the CEO and Business Partners;
  • Lead end to end recruitment processes for selected positions.
SKILLS YOU NEED TO HAVE
  • Degree or equivalent, preferably in Human Resources Management, Organizations Psychology, Social Sciences or similar;
  • Proven experience in the IT sector as a Recruiter or similar;
  • Vast understanding of different technical and technological profiles;
  • Experience with channels like LinkedIn, Stack Overflow and other specialized channels;
  • Great communication skills;
  • Strong relationship management;
  • Ability to creatively use different talent channels, not only LinkedIn;
  • Professionalism, organization and sense of responsibility;
  • Strive at working independently;
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems;
  • People’s person, able of creating empathy and establishing constructive/collaborative working relationships;
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
