Talent Engagement Specialist

The Human Resources area is concerned with the entire journey of employees (and potential employees) from the first contact with Xpand IT.

It ensures that there is a stringent recruitment process and a welcoming onboarding so that everyone is well received and integrated. It is responsible for properly managing all benefits, partnerships and protocols and to energise the Xpanders community, always with the aim of promoting Xpand IT human culture, based on strong values.

The main objective is to create lasting and trusting relationships that guarantee each Xpander’s personal and professional development.


As a Talent Engagement Specialist, you will be responsible for contributing to Xpand IT’s global Employee Engagement strategy in order to maximise levels of employee engagement, satisfaction and retention. You will support a range of activities, including the management of several important moments of employee’s engagement lifecycle programme. You will be aware of what motivates, engages and retains employees, and will use this information to develop tailor-made engagement activities.

Your daily activities will include:

  • Developing different engagement activities for employees through a variety of projects that include cultural engagement and corporate responsibility, focusing on increasing retention rates
  • Participating in the implementation of HR processes across the organisationsuch as performance evaluation and training management
  • Collaborating with experts across the company to maximise the impact of these activities on employee engagement and retention
  • Building trusting relationships to understand and meet employee engagement requirements and needs
  • Demonstrating and conveying Xpand IT’s core values and develop new ways of working where we can continue to transmit them widely across the company
  • Continually evolving and implementing Xpand ITs engagement activities according to the industry’s best practices and innovations
  • Experience (+4 years) in HR operations and employee engagement in the IT companies’ domain
  • Passion for people’s development and well-being
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Organisation and management skills to work under pressure to tight deadlines, budgets and targets with accuracy;
  • Ability to successfully manage and implement key projects from start to finish
  • Confident decision-maker and ability to work independently
  • Intellectual curiosity and innovative spirit, keen to doing research and benchmarking
  • Experience in project management and event organisation
  • Ability to analyse and solve problems
  • Ability and ease in building empathy and establishing constructive/collaborative working relationships at all organisation levels
  • Knowledge of MS Office tools, wiki platforms and agile project management tools
  • Intermediate English, with conversational and written proficiency
